Notice of Review of Polling Districts & Polling Places – Initial Recommendations
Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with statutory requirements, Cannock Chase Council is conducting a review of polling districts, polling places and polling stations.
The Council has sought feedback on the suitability of the facilities that are currently used, any proposed changes or any related matters. Particular reference has been made to location and accessibility issues. The views of local electors as well as persons or organisations with particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability was sought.
Further to this, the (Acting) Returning Officer has made a number of initial recommendations on the suitability of polling stations within each polling district and comments are invited on these initial recommendations.
The original form / questionnaire for completion may be used for any further comments, which can be downloaded below. Alternatively, comments and representations can be submitted to: Polling Review, Electoral Services, Cannock Chase Council, Civic Centre, Beecroft Road, Cannock WS11 1BG or email: ElectionsOffice@cannockchasedc.gov.uk
A list of the locations of the polling stations used at the recent District and European Parliamentary elections is also available to download.
All comments and representations must be submitted by 15 November, 2019, in accordance with the following timetable:
